Benbrook Public Library is proud to announce that we are working on our certification to become an official Family Place Library! This means that we, as a library, are able to offer valuable resources for all families and are able to promote critical early learning skills beginning from birth.
Our grand opening will introduce the five-week long Family Place Parent/Child Workshop that begins on August 23rd (registration required). We will be showcasing our new furniture, toys, and parenting collection we have been able to purchase through the grant we received from Family Place. We also want to use this time to invite our patrons to visit with us to learn more about the workshop and what it means to be a Family Place Library.
There will be activities for the kids during the grand opening as well.
