Help & Guides
Hoopla in 5 easy steps!
- Go to the app store on your device and download the hoopla app (it's free!) Or, visit hoopladigital.com on your computer.
- In hoopla, create an account using your email address and your Benbrook library card number (on the back of your library card) and creating a password.
- Browse ebooks, audiobooks, comics, music, movies, and TV shows until you see something that tickles your fancy.
- When you find an item you want, click on the title and then click "Borrow." The great thing about hoopla is if you can see it, you can have it now; you'll never have to place a hold and wait!
- Borrowed titles appear under "My Hoopla" in the app and "Currently Borrowed" in a browser. You can stream your items or download them to your device to enjoy them offline.
Ebooks, audiobooks, and comics may be borrowed for 14 days, music for 7 days, and movies and TV for 3 days.
The monthly hoopla borrowing limit is 10 items per cardholder! Let us know if you have any questions, and enjoy!
