Tween Art Class
Monthly art classes for tweens
Registration Required
Step into your artistic journey at the Benbrook Library! Be introduced to the elements of art, examine historical or contemporary artists, and develop artistic skill. Paints, pencils, inks, or watercolors will be used by your “young Van Gogh” to create a masterpiece in every session. Supplies will be provided by the library.
These classes are for beginning artists, ages 9 through 12. It is important to note that artists who participate should be able to follow instructions, complete the project within the time allotted, and clean up their tools before the end of class. Please dress appropriately to create! Our tween programs are designed for tweens only. If your tween needs parental help for these classes please talk to a library staff member before signing up.
Upon registration, sign up for reminder notices from the instructor by texting @3fgc3g to the number 81010. You will be informed about the artistic medium used and will be able to view a sample of the artwork that will be created in class.
