How old do I need to be to receive a library card?
18+ to receive an adult card, 0+ to receive a child's card. Children's accounts must be associated with parent/guardian accounts.
How can I receive a library card?
Benbrook residents, residents of 76126 zip code, and non-residents outside of Benbrook and Fort Worth city limits must visit the library in person and bring along a valid government-issued picture ID and additional proof of address, such as recent first-class mail addressed to the patron at their current address or a utility bill dated within 30 days, either physical or digital copy.
Fort Worth residents outside of the 76126 zip code must present a valid TexShare card in addition to the required documents.

How do I know which card I am eligible for?
We use Tarrant County Appraisal District’s database as the primary source to determine whether you are a Benbrook resident. Google Maps serves as an alternate source to determine residence.
